Waterbody Type: 53-acre manmade lake, used as a residential neighborhood feature

Water Quality Problem: Severe algal blooms that impaired resident use of the lake

Aeration Solution: Full mixing of the water column to reduce algal growth and improve water clarity. Two compressor locations with eight (8) rocking piston compressors and flow metre manifolds to ensure the volunteer operators can easily adjust each of the diffusers and manage the compressor maintenance cycles. To save on costs, this system was installed by community volunteers, using our installation instructions.
